Full-Stack Dev, Software Engineer.

Hi There!

My name's Emmanuel, my friends call me Ejay. I'm a junior full stack web developer/software engineer who recently graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (December of 2024)! Most of my background is in Emergency Medicine, with a lot of experience volunteering and leading teams and community events. It is my hope that with this background and unique perspective, I can provide unique solutions that will greatly aid your development team and likewise better help my community. For now, as a new grad, I am looking for entry-level junior positions or internships to begin my journey and learn to the utmost best of my ability, while being as helpful and efficient as possible. More

Spotify API (Nov 2023-Present)

The Spotify API (to be named) is a full stack web app geared towards replacing Spotify's "Daily Drive" and giving users a customizable radio experience. Written in Python and Flask.

Discord.py (Jan 2024)

A fun discord bot called the "Gus Fring" bot, with the ability to remote start a gaming server as well as run some mod commands or just used as a fun chat bot! The link leads to the server, but the chat bot has since been disabled. Written in Python.

Overwatch Script (Nov 2023/Feb 2024)

This project is a small javascript based on the game "Overwatch". Designed to input a player, their rank, and desired role and to produce well balance teams! Originally written in python in Novemebr 2023, and re-written in javascript February 2024.

Codies.xyz (Nov 2023)

Based off the original game Codies.xyz, this is a clone of the popular game which has since been taken down. This game operates similar to the game "Codenames". Written in Express/Node.js.

WebVizOS (Fall 2023)

The WebVizOS is my senior captsone group project where the objective is to teach students how operating systems work with web visualizers and textbook descriptions. My job was purely front end, however I did end up recreating a lot of backend functions in Java, and then with javascript and bootstrap as a test; however we ultimately decided to stick with Java.

Class Scheduler (Fall 2022)

The school project was my very first coding project ever! A group project with the aim of helping students create a class schedule that automaitcally takes into account their major requirements so there is no need to handpick your classes (though the option exists). It is also a useful tool for faculty and staff as department chairs can list classes, their location, and what year a student will typically be when they take the class in order to make their experience easier. Once again, I was primarily front end however ended up going full stack to finish the calendar functionality.
